Federal Screen Celebrates 25th Anniversary as a Manufacturer in Mississauga
Federal Screen Products, Inc is excited to be celebrating this milestone anniversary in October 2022 as the Canadian custom fabricator officially marks 25 years in business.
The company kicked off celebrations in August with a boat cruise for their employees and followed in September with a National Sales Meeting. The festivities continue with a social media contest in November where participants will have a chance to win a pair of custom corn hole boards made of wedge wire screen.
In 1997, Vito Sabia, a wedge wire industry veteran had a vision to start a company focused on exceptional customer service, industry-leading quality, and an importance on positive employee experience to create an atmosphere of growth.

The company has achieved tremendous growth over the years and recently underwent a major renovation, expanding its Malton-based facility to over 40,000 square feet, accommodating over 60 employees. The Evolution of Federal Screen Products
1997
Federal Screen is founded by Vito Sabia in Mississauga, Ontario in the heart of booming Canadian industrial sector. They started with a shop of 3,800 sq. ft., a few employees and one screen machine. Operating in just the water treatment business, they manufactured wedge wire screen cylinders in 10-foot length.
2002
After five years, they moved to a larger facility down the street and expanded their capabilities to include welding and fabrication. Adding more screen machines, they grew their product mix to better meet the demand of customers in the water treatment industry.
2008
The company continues to invest in new technology and capabilities to expand and automate manufacturing capabilities. This includes larger screen machines, water jet cutting equipment, onsite passivation, vapor polishing system, a CNC system for thread cutting, and more. Keeping all work in-house allows Federal Screen to produce quality products while maintaining exceptional delivery.
2013
Federal Screen’s success is largely based on the know-how and commitment of its employees, who are the company’s most valuable asset. 2018
In 2018, the company rebranded with a new brand identity to better embody wedge wire screen products. The “F” in Federal represents the triangular shape of V-shaped wire. Operating in more than just water treatment market, Federal Screen fabricates products in other industries including Wastewater Treatment, Filtration, Mining, Gas & Petrochemical, Power Generation, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Pulp & Paper.
2022
Federal Screen underwent a major renovation to their office and shop as they now expanded to over 40,000 sq. feet, and invested a significant amount in technology. Experiencing tremendous growth, they hired more staff to ensure they continue to deliver the highest-quality products while maintaining the best customer service and delivery times in the business. As they celebrate 25 years in business, they look forward to continued growth and partnership with their employees, reps and clients.
